But it's still amazing synchronicity for me. I'm an historian, now working my way slowly into the field of early childhood education, with a special interest in children's literature, play and the life of the imagination. Since 2005, I've launched a children's book review (Bookish), which I found too costly to continue to produce, and so early this year, I launched a blog, which went on hiatus as soon as the school let out for the summer... And I've been slow to restart because I'm now working in conjunction with a Portland, OR venture called Cafe au Play, and talking about moving over to their website...and many other very cool possibilities as well. Anyway, all of this to say, I'm really excited both to have discovered this group of bloggers, and to have discovered, right here in the Portland area. I'd love to hear more about next year's conference, and see if I can help in some way, so please do contact me. Dear MsMac,
