Poetry Friday: First Friday
Here are the first entries for “First Friday”. I had the young poets choose but I also selected one.
moon telling the stars
a story. The sun watches on
the warm wind blows.

Oh, and that last one by Alison: I don’t know if she planned it that way, with the dangling “and” followed by the direct “Look at them,” but it was just perfect for how I feel about the glory of fall. Don’t gush, just look, look, look!

Sometimes we get so busy that we forget how beautiful fall can be. Thank you Alison for reminding us all to stop and remember the little things such as the color of the leaves as they are changing this season. Thank you Jone for everything you do for our school.
